Hoot Hoot!

One of N's little friends had her 2nd birthday today, which had me in the craft room this morning doing up this card.

I learned how to do the owl with punches from Heather's Punch class. You can see a bit of the tape on his feathers from my ATG Gun but that's what I get I guess for leaving this to the last minute and being in a rush. :P

Anywho, I think he turned out lovely! It's the first card I've made in months (or seems like it) and was every enjoyable to do. I need to get into my craft room more than I have lately.

I used Washington Apple DSP with coordinating colours - so safron, only orange, riding hood red and then added in Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa. The greeting comes from a new greeting stamp set in the new cattie, which I can't remember the name of, but it has a bazillion greetings/sayings in the set.
